Dubai – "The desert"

Dubai has been called the shopping capital of the Middle East. Dubai has a rich collection of buildings and structures of various architectural styles. Many modern interpretations of Islamic architecture can be found in Dubai, due to an architectural boom in the Arab World.
There are a number of parks, amusement parks and heritage villages. Most recently, on the 4th January 2010, the world's tallest skyscraper has been opened in Dubai, the Burj Khalifa, known as the Burj Dubai during construction.v

By Air :

Dubai International Airport (IATA: DXB), the hub for the Emirates Airline, serves the city of Dubai and other emirates in the country. Emirates Airline is the national airline of Dubai.
Moving in and around : The Public Bus Transport system in Dubai is run by the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA). The bus system services are available. Dubai also has an extensive taxi system, by far the most frequently used means of public transport within the Emirate. There are both government-operated and private cab companies. Waterway: The Marine Transport Agency has also implemented the Dubai Water Bus System.

Arab food is very popular and is available everywhere in the city, from the small shawarma diners in Deira and Al Karama to the restaurants in Dubai's hotels. Fast food, South Asian, and Chinese cuisines are also very popular and are widely available.
