City Overview :

What to See :

The famous Jallian Wala Bagh which is known for its most unhappening incident under the Britishers, located near around 400 meters of the golden temple. The palace of maharaja ranjit Singh is built in the mid of the splendid garden of Ram bagh. International border between India and Pakistan Wagha Border is located here.
The other thing to make notice is that the city has many woolen, cotton and silk textile factories, electric goods, auto parts and carpet industries. Also at verka the second biggest project of milk processing plant is situated at a distance of 6 km.
