City Overview :

A beautiful place between Karnataka and Kerala is Coorg, with well established network connecting the city with Mysore in a time span of just 2 hrs by bus or car and tourists will enjoy the journey as the route is well covered with thick dense forests, lots of greenery around and plenty of coffee estates covering the way. What to See :

There are varieties of places for the tourists which includes the famous and exotic Rajeev Gandhi National Park also known as Nagarhole which is a wildlife sanctuary. The park lies on the southern edge of the town and is a 3 hours journey from madikeri which is again a town located near Coorg and the road is full of greenery and bamboo and rosewood trees. Apart from this magnificent omkareshwar temple, exciting dubare elephant training camp with dazzling river Cauvery are a must to see. The splendid waterfall, huge rows of coffee bushes, orange, lemon grass, cardamom and nutmeg plantations also attract a lot of tourists.

The nearest airport is in Bangalore which is at a distance of 260km and Mangalore which us at a distance of 135km.

By Train :

The nearest railway station from the town is in Mysore which is 146km away.

By Bus :

Traveling through buses is easy as the NH 48 highway passes through Kodagu. Many buses ply from and to Coorg.
