City Overview :

The capital city of Rajasthan Jaipur is also known as pink city. It is a heritage city which is famous as it has retained the glory of past and lies in the semi desert of Rajasthan. Hawa Mahal is again a very exquisite destination for the tourist which is also called a palace of wind. The amazing story of this place is that it has around 950 small windows known as jharokhas and it attracts many tourists. City Palace: this complex has many interesting places to see pavilions, gardens and temples, the Chandra Mahal, Mukut Mahal, Maharani's Palace and Palace Museum. The palace is the best example to feel the architect of Rajputs and Mughal architecture.
Jantar Mantar: it is the popular sight to see the mixture of architectural astronomical instruments. Amber Fort: the fort is located on the height of the hill at a distance about 11 Km away from the city. The rich intrinsic interior attracts the attention. The other tourist attractions are Jal Mahal Palace, Birla Temple, Vidhyadhar Garden and Albert Hall Museum.

Getting There :

The city has nice channel of transport which connects the city to the other cities, country and states by air, railways and by road. Moving around in the city can be done by taking a cycle-rickshaws and three-wheelers. Even the private taxis and cabs can be hired.
By Air :
The main airport of the city is the Sanganer Airport situated at a distance of 14 kms from the city and links it to the Delhi, Mumbai, and Bangalore by regular flights.
By Train :
The railhead of Jaipur Station connects the city to Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore and Kolkata and all other cities of the country. The luxurious train Palace on wheels is the best to cover all the places.
By Bus :
Various buses like the luxury and public are available for different states and cities. The city is linked to Delhi by the NH8 highway. Private transport can also be taken to reach Jaipur.
