Kodaikanal is a very famous and demanding hill station of the state Tamil Nadu. It is a lovely hill resort and lies on the Dindigul district of the Palani hills. There are countless attractions for this place which includes the dazzling Silver Cascade Falls where the water of kodai lakes falls from a height of 180 feet. Another sizzling lake is Berijam Lake which is 21 kms away from Kodaikanal and is considered as one of the best lake of south. The splendid Shenbaganur Museum which consists of butterflies and birds and the spectacular Bryant Park is a must to see.
The fascinating Kodaikanal lake is also one of the major attractions and is of star shaped surrounded by emerald green wooded slopes. The Coakers Walk is a steep slope which lies on the southern side of Kodai which drives the tourists crazy and refreshes the mind.
The list does not ends here, there are several other sites like magnificent Shembaganur Museum of Natural History, Kurinji Temple, Bear Shola Falls, Pillar Rock and charming Dolphin's Nose.

The railway station is around 80 kms away from Kodaikanal Road and is linked with many places like Ooty, Trichi, Coimbatore and Chennai.

Kodaikanal is linked with national highway 7 which connects the place to Bangalore and Ooty by many private and government buses.
