Nagpur is situated on the north east part of Maharashtra Nagpur in India. It is the centre of India as per the geographic map of India. It is also known as the other capital city of Maharashtra. The major production of oranges makes the city as orange growing city of India. The name is derived by the river nag; on the banks of this the city is located.The other lakes like Futala Lake, Gorewada Lake and Telangkhedi Lake are very exotic to see. The natural green environment and neat surroundings makes it the second greenest city in the country.

Other than this The Ambazari lake which is located at 6-km west of Nagpur. It is the most beautiful lake of the city which gathers lot of tourists along with a garden on the side.An important landmark of Nagpur is stabuldi fort which can be seen at the top of the hill on the center of the city. This was constructed by British officer in the year 1857. It is also something not to be missed while on a visit, tourists can see the park from the hills of Sitabuldi.
Tekdi Ganapathi Temple is one of the most ancient and popular temples of Nagpur. It is believed to be approximately 250 years old. The Tadoba National Park is a small park, sprawled over an area of 120 sq. kms at an altitude of 200 m. It is located 100-km south of Nagpur and 45-kms north of the district headquarter. Taboda is also known as "The Jewel of Vidarbha". It is one of the oldest parks in Maharashtra and is also a Project Tiger reserve since 1993.
