City Overview :

A small town in the state of Uttarakhand is Nainital. The headquarters is located in the foothills of Kumaon. The height on which it is situated is 1,938 meters (6,358 feet) above sea level. The most beautiful lake is Naini in the district. Once upon a time there were more than 60 lakes in Nainital but now they have disappeared. It is a beautiful hill station which is surrounded by mountains. This city was discovered by Britishers.

The closest railhead is in Kathgodam located at a distance of 34 km from the city. The trains are well linked with the New Delhi, Kolkata and Lucknow.
