Pushkar is a small town located in the state of Rajasthan near the district called Ajmer and is approximately 11km away from Ajmer. Well renowned Pushkar fair has made this place historical and important and is a holy and religious place of Hindus. It is one of the oldest towns in India and situated on the shore of the dazzling lake Pushkar.

It is one of the well known religious places which were regarded as Adi Tiratha. This is the most often visited place of Rajasthan. The Lord Brahma temple is worshipped very much here. The temple of Goddess Savitri is a very beautiful situated on heights of hills of Pushkar town.
The Varah Temple is again one of the unique temples of the place.

The nearest railhead is in Ajmer 14kms from the city which is well linked with the other cities of the country. Well connected by trains. Tourists can take Taxi or rickshaw to reach.

By Road :

Roads are well maintained by the government of Rajasthan and as it is just 11 km from Ajmer, tourists can find several public buses and taxis to reach. Also to reach from Jaipur travelers will many roadways buses running till Pushkar.
