Rameshwaram is a small town of the district Ramanathapuram which is the state of Tamilnadu. It lies in Pamban Island and is at a distance of 50 km from mannar island, Sri Lanka and is separated from mainland India by the Pamban channel. Rameswaram island also called as Pamban Island is connected with the mainland through pamban bridge. It is a beautiful island dedicated to lord rama’s temples and serves as a very popular destination for the tourists. It is a combination of exciting holiday spot and holy and religious place.
