City Overview :

Inside the state of Andhra Pradesh lies a beautiful port and coastal city called Visakhapatnam and is also named as "The Jewel of the East Coast". It is situated on the eastern shore of India and is bounded by the exquisite hills of the Eastern Ghats. What to See :

The city has many attracting places for the tourists which includes exotic Indira Gandhi Zoological Park which lies on the scenic Eastern Ghats of India covered by hills from both the sides and is located on the east of Bay of Bengal. The dazzling kailasagiri is situated on a hilltop drives the tourists crazy and more fascinating is the hill on the sea front towards bheemunipatnam which is a mind boggling place. The splendid Ramakrishna Beach is also one of the favorite spot of the travelers.
Rishikonda Beach which is at a distance of 8 km from the city should also not be missed which has crystal clear water and soft white sand.

Vishakhapatnam has many modes of transports which link to different cities and states by air, road and rail.

By Air:

The airport has several flights landing and departing throughout the day so it is considered as one of the busiest airport in the state. Daily flights move from and to Hyderabad, Chennai, Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Tirupati and Kolkata.
